Q: What are the dates of the fantasy faire?
A: Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th of 2015

Q: What are the hours?
A: The gate opens for all guests at 10:00am and closes at 6:00pm.

Q: Where is the Fantasy Faire located?
A: 1610 El Camino Real, Atascadero, Ca. Located between the US101 and El Camino Real.

Q: Do I have to dress up to attend?
A: No, however the point of the faire is to bring you to a medievl European fantasy themed realm. The more who participate, the better.

Q: When dressing up, are we allowed to accessorize with weapons?
A: Period weapons are allowed as long as they are peace-tied. Upon entering the event, your weapons will be inspected for a peace-tie. Any weapons that are not peace-tied will need to be left in your vehicle.

Q: Will there be food?
A: Yes. The event will have local food vendors serving up different types of food.

Q: What kinds of food will be available?
A: There will be a variety of food vendors on the venue site.

Q: Will there be beer and wine?
A: Yes. Beer and wine will be sold at our themed tavern.

Q: Are we allowed to bring our own alcohol?
A: No. The only alcohol allowed on property must be provided by a licensed vendor.

Q: Can I bring my pets?
A: No. The only animals allowed in the venue site are service or show animals.

Q: Where can I buy tickets?
A: Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth at the front of the venue on the days of the event.

Q: What forms of payment are accepted for admission?
A: Cash, credit cards and debit cards are all acceptable forms of payment.

Q: What forms of payment are accepted by the vendors?
A: All vendors are different. Cash is always the most recommended form of payment.

Q: Is there parking?
A: Yes.

Q: Is the venue handicap accessible?
A: Yes. In accordance to the state of California and the city of Atascadero’s regulations the venue site and parking lot is to be accessible to everyone.

Q: Is there camping available for vendors or guild members?
A: No. Camping is not permitted on-site, however there are a few campgrounds within a 12 mile radius.

Q: I'm from out of town, where is nearby lodging?
A: There is a variety of local hotels in the area as well as a few campgrounds. Please see the lodging link for more information.

Q: What forms of entertainment will there be?
A: The event will have paricipating guilds as well as story tellers, dancers and much more.

Q: Is this event family/small child friendly?
A: Yes. We welcome people of all ages. There will be fun available for the entire family.

Q: Can I attend this event without supervision if I’m under the age of 18?
A: Yes, however any misbehavior on your part will force us to have security escort you off the venue site and refuse to allow you back in. Please behave and have fun.

Q: I am a merchant, how do I register for this event?

Q: I am a guild master/mistress, how do I register my guild for this event?
A: You may fill out our application form that can be downloaded here. You may either mail it to the address listed or you may scan it and email it to us at: info@medievalfantasyfaire.com

Q: May I bring my own food or beverages into the faire?
A: No. We have local food vendors participating in this event and we please ask that those with a rumble in their tummies to support these local businesses. Specialty food/formula/breast milk for infants is of course permitted. Please note that large bags will be inspected.
